The Department of Registrar of Companies and Official Receiver has issued an announcement for the companies that had not yet settled the annual levy of 2016, which was due for payment by the 30th June 2016.
After the 31st of August 2016, the outstanding annual levy will amount to €490 for the year of 2016 and/or any other year after 2012 for which the levy is not paid (i.e. 2012- 2015).
Further, the Registrar announced that, failure to pay the annual levy within of one year from the date it becomes due, the Registrar may proceed, pursuant to Article 327 of the Companies Law, with striking off the Register the said company.
